Hi Mandy,   Sorry to hear about your little one. Allergy symptoms are not always totally predictable, but it definitely sounds as though your child has some sort of sensitivity to mosquito bites. I'd keep a close watch on this occurrence. Stinging insects can sometimes trigger what is known as allergic shock, or anaphylaxis, which can quickly spiral out of control. That might not ever happen with your baby, but you'll want to be prepared.   I encourage you to speak with your doctor about a prevention plan.   To your health, Kathi
