What medications in the celor family would be given to a patient during a C-Section as an antibiotic?
Hi Chris,
This is a question better posed to the doctors involved in the patient's care. There are many different antibiotics that could be used. Ceclor is a cephalosporin antibiotic. Keflex is another. When you talk about this class of antibiotics, there are two generations. The second- or more recent generation are considered more powerful and specific than their predecessors.
