I would not give a baby this age any Benadryl or OTC product without speaking to your doctor. Many products are not recommended for children under 6, and even at that age, fluids and rest can be the best remedies - unless there is fever. Then, your doctor needs to evaluate the child for causes of illness. To get fluids in a very congested baby may take patience, but a humidifier may help ease symptoms
