Q: my insurance no longer coveres non-sedating allergy meds

i have a serious allergy and my insurance company no longer coveres non-sedating meds, they say that over-the-counter meds are just as good. the over the counter meds are 5 and 10 mg and the alergra i take is 180mg. is there a sedating allergy medication on the market that can help me? since my insurance dosent cover non-sedating?  without the meds my lips and tongue swell up bad and i lose the skin off of my lips, they are raw and painful. not to mention impossibe to even brush my teeth because of the toothpaste.
