I am allergic to pets yet my work allows people to bring dogs into the office. Dogs are in no way needed at my work and none of the dogs that come in are service dogs. My employer created a "dog policy" due to my allergies (including pet owners giving a 24 hour notice & vacuuming), but no one follows it. My office is very open so I am affected whenever a dog comes in and for a few days after. My boss, who is also the HR Director, simply says "sorry" when owners disregard the policy. Any advice?
