Q: Does an allergy to Timothy Grass imply an allergy to Timothy Hay?

I feed my pet rabbits Timothy hay and also have a strong allergy to Timothy grass.

From my understanding the allergy comes from the pollen of the grass.  Since the hay can't produce the pollen, the pollen would be residual on the hay as the grass was cut to make it.  Is that enough pollen to give an allergic reaction if one has a strong allergic reaction to Timothy Grass pollen?

Yes, definitely enough. How to feed a rabbit when you are allergic to Timothy hay (aka grass)? That's the next question I'm looking into...
