Hi Michelle,   I'd suggest you get your doctor to look at the bite if you're concerned about it. Swelling from a flea bite is not usual, I believe. But spider bites can sometimes be more problematic, particularly if they are complicated by infection or poisonous venom from the spider. If that is the case, you might need to be on an antibiotic.   But only your doctor can say for sure, so at least give him/her a call, OK?   Meanwhile, you may get some relief from itching by apply cold compresses to the area for 15 minutes at a time. Hydrocortisone cream may also provide some relief.   To your health, Kathi
