I am sorry - but your first, second generation explaination is totally inadequate. There is a huge demand for drixoral that is being satisfied by Canadian pharmacies. Now, US CUSTOMS has imposed a 60 tablet limit on Northwest Pharmacy (Canada) per month. I have been taking 2 tablets (one in am and one in pm) to beat my allergy problem for 30 years. The manufacturer claimed the plant closure more than 3 years ago - that is not an explaination. May God curse you with acute allergies year round until you get serious about investigating this issue.   I cannot get anyone to admit to this - The meth-amphedimine (?) illegal cooking of Drixoral for illicit drug use is a big problem. It seems to me that the feds have decided it is better to eliminate the drug from the legal market so the illegal market will have less access to it. That is a farce - my Canadian generic drixoral is now made in Turkey. I do not know whose demand is greater (the legals or the illegals) - but stopping legal production and shipping is not going to stop the illegals. A poor country like Turkey (thru the black market) would be more than happy to supply the drug illegally. So, who gets hurt in this FED game - only the people who need the drug (for which there is no replacement) - I repeat may God curse you with this affliction so that you will finally understand and research the issue to find the truth.
