Q: I do not have itchy throat or a runny nose A sinus headache should I still try a allergy medicine?

Hi Susie, If you are sure your headache is due to clogged sinuses (it might not be), then allergy medicine might help... if you have nasal allergies. At any rate, it should help reduce nasal and sinus inflammation to some extent. But if the headache actually has some other root cause, then treating for allergies isn't going to do anything. Or if the headache is due to a sinus infection, then antibiotics might be needed, though only a doctor could tell you for sure.
