I went to an allergist, and she said I could start now, take a 3 month break from january-march of 2012 and then pick up the shot routine again in April. To me, it doesn't seem like a great idea to start and stop, so I'd like to get a second opinion.
Q: Can I start allergy shots twice a week for 3 months and then stop for 3 months (I may be traveling) and then pick them back up again? Is this a bad idea? Will the shots still be effective?
