Australian researchers say just one can of the popular stimulant
energy drink Red Bull can increase the risk of heart attack or
stroke, even in young people. In a recent study, scientists found
that the caffeine-loaded beverage--popular with university students
and adrenaline sport fans--caused the blood of normal, healthy
adults to become sticky, a precursor to cardiovascular problems
such as stroke. A spokesperson for Red Bull responded to the study
