Study: Red Bull energy drink boosts stroke risk

Australian researchers say just one can of the popular stimulant energy drink Red Bull can increase the risk of heart attack or stroke, even in young people. In a recent study, scientists found that the caffeine-loaded beverage--popular with university students and adrenaline sport fans--caused the blood of normal, healthy adults to become sticky, a precursor to cardiovascular problems such as stroke.
