High allergen levels in the house linked to asthma

A new survey suggests that asthmatics may be able to ease their symptoms by reducing the number of allergens in the home. The survey found that 52 percent of homes have at least six known allergens, such as those from dog and cat dander, dust mites, cockroaches, and mice. Experts say that while homes can't be made allergen-free, frequent cleaning may help remove many of these asthma triggers. Read more »
