The Food and Drug Administration is scheduled to review a new allergy medication for market approval. The med is a combination of the asthma drug Singulair and the allergy tablet Claritin. Drugmakers Schering-Plough and Merck are seeking approval of the combination for use by patients who have allergic rhinitis.
