Antioxidant-rich foods are touted for their health benefits, but two new studies suggest that those properties can wane. Researchers in two separate studies say that the potency of green tea bags and olive oil were shown to lose 35 to 40 percent of their antioxidant power when stored for more than six months--even if the foods had not been exposed to light and air.
