Food Causes Of Vertigo

Vertigo med may treat obesity

An Israeli doctor says a little-known medication exists that may treat obesity. Betahistine--a med that was used 60 years ago to treat vertigo--appears to stop cravings for fatty foods by stimulating a brain receptor. Early-stage clinical trials on the medication reveal that study participants lost up to 12 percent of their body weight. Some experts believe the medication may also lower cholesterol. Read more »
