Hay fever vaccine gets go-ahead in the United Kingdom

An allergy vaccine pill called Grazax will be launched in the United Kingdom in early 2007. In studies, Grazax cut hay fever symptoms by 40 percent, which is significantly higher than either antihistamine tablets or nasal sprays. According to researchers, an eight-week course of the vaccine pill can keep allergy symptoms away for a whole season. Read more »
