The Immune System For Kids

A new study suggests that children raised in a house with a dog may
be less likely to suffer allergies and asthma. Researchers in
Germany followed 9,000 children from birth through the age of six
and found that those who were exposed to the pet from infancy were
less likely to be sensitive to allergens. Experts say this may be
because exposure to pets and certain kids of dirt actually
strengthen a child's immune system.
