stroke. Two decades of investigation recorded in the Nurses’ Health
Study and Health Professionals Follow-Up Study
showed that for every
additional three-ounce serving of unprocessed red meat consumed each
day, the risk for dying from cardiovascular disease increased by
thirteen percent.
