People with chronic nasal obstruction are twice as likely to feel
excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS), according to new research.
Patients with chronic nasal obstruction were also five times more
likely to have sleep apnea, compared to those without nasal
problems. Nasal obstruction can be caused by allergies,
rhinosinusitis, or a deviated septum.
