Researchers from the American Lung Association (ALA) say they've found no link between the asthma drug Singulair and an increased risk of suicide and depression. The study, which will be published in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, re-analyzed data from a large group of patients who had taken part in clinical trials and compared their data with participants who were given a placebo. ALA researchers say they found no emotional deterioration in adults or children who had taken the medication.
