Hay fever sufferers may triple in the next 50 years

British researchers say the number of people who suffer from seasonal allergies could triple in the next 50 years. Rising temperatures and pollution could mean that seven out of 10 people would be allergic to pollen by the year 2060. Wetter winters and drier summers could also mean that allergens such as ragweed could find a foothold in Great Britain, and changing vegetation could bring new allergens to countries around the world, experts say.
