According to a new survey, 83 percent of people with allergies say their symptoms affect their sexual activity. The study polled 700 people, about half of whom had allergies. They asked questions about sexual activity, fatigue, and sleep patterns. Of the respondents, 18 percent said that allergies nearly always got in the way of having a satisfying sexual life, but far more said symptoms got in the way occasionally. Respondents who had allergies also reported sleeping problems--a factor that researchers said has been backed by other studies.
