Peanut Allergy Linked to Worse Asthma

Children with asthma who also have a peanut allergy may experience more, or more severe, asthma attacks, a new study has found. Researchers found that those with food allergies had more hospitalizations and were more likely to need oral steroids to manage their symptoms than asthmatic children without the allergy.The lead researcher says that parents of children who have both conditions should work especially close with a child's doctor in order to keep serious symptoms under control.  Read full story >
