FDA Orders New Asthma Drug Warnings

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have finalized long-expected warnings for asthma drugs called long-acting beta-agonists (LABAs). LABAs include drugs such as Serevent and Foradil, while Advair and Symbicort include LABAs. The FDA is requiring drugmakers to change their labels to reflect that LABA drugs should not be taken alone.
