Low-Allergy Peanut in Development

A hypo-allergenic peanut may be on its way, experts say. The cross-bred peanut has fewer proteins associated with allergies than conventional peanuts. Researchers say that allergic people exposed to the peanuts would have a significantly reduced reaction, and could also be used as a form of peanut immunotherapy.
