Is Low-Fat Yogurt Linked to Allergies?

A new study suggests that women who eat low-fat yogurt during pregnancy may be raising their child's risk of allergies later in life. The study of almost 62,000 women surprised researchers who were studying the protective effects of dairy. Women who drank milk during pregnancy did appear to show a small protective effect, and researchers say the link between low-fat yogurt and allergies is so surprising they'll have to study it more to be sure it's a causal association, rather than a flaw with the study.
