Moderate Alcohol Intake May Cut Asthma Risk

Drinking one to six servings of alcohol per week may protect you against asthma, a new study suggests. A study of 19,349 twins found that those with the lowest risk of asthma drank a moderate amount of alcohol (1-6 drinks) during the week. Those with the highest risk of asthma either drank rarely, or drank heavily.
