    I appreciate your article because it describes what it was like around my house when I was diagnosed with vasular dementia.  My home, which was once always tidy, was cluttered...dirty...and I didn't do anything about it.  Why, it was like the area around me didn't exist...I don't know how to describe it any better.  I didn't remember we had a vacuum...  Our solution was to hire a lady to come in every other week and work on the common areas of the house.  While she works, I work in the bedroom or other area where she does not clean.  One of the problems I have is that I don't complete tasks.  I just start them and then get interested in something else before I am finished...  Thanks for the article.  I''m sure it will be helpful to many.
