I live with my aunt and her daughter because aunt has dimentia,what kind don't know and we are getting ready to see regular dr. to find another nerologist and physc dr. She has outburst ,don't sleep ,sometimes shakey,going to first alz meeting what can we expect from the meeting?

    Thanks so much nanarosie for your post and welcome to our community.  Hopefully your experience with this new doctor will be positive and forthcoming - two things that can surely be a good thing when starting off down this often bumpy road.

    Thanks for the information, I read it. So far my Aunt lets both of us go into see the dr. He is really good about talking to us all.Now we need to get her a nerologist that will listen to us. Also asking about Theropist for her. Shes at the stage she knows her memory is going,shakey hands and easily aggetated but doesn't understand why? Her daughter is in denial so I'm also dealing with that. Thats why the Alz meeting tonight for her. So wish me luck with daughter and meeting.What is it like at these meetings can anyone tell me? Again Thanks for your input.
