The Alzheimer Society of Washington was eager to participate in AFA's quilt project from the very first time we read about it.  We were able to assemble a top-notch group of volunteers who assured us that we would be a able to send a beautiful, meaningful quilt.  This meant many hours of designing, sewing and collecting names.  The local community responded with 250 names that were written on the quilt.  Community memebrs told us taht this was a very special legacy for their loved ones.
