I am fity-seven and care for two alzheimers patients. i also live with a disabled husband who is sane and insane. when he is in pain, he's insane (Ha). I need advice on getting meds to patients without resistance. Can someone help me. Thank you. Wami (my grandkids call me this)

    Thanks so very much for your post.  It sounds like you have your hands full as a caregiver - for sure!

     

    If you haven't already, you should speak with all the doctors and other medical providers involved for their advice.  They are certain to have an action plan with treatment options.

     

    As well, it sounds like you might be in need of some support for yourself as a caregiver.  Its so important for you to keep yourself in good health and to have positive people who can help to manage what at times must seem like an impossible situation - for you multiple patients.

     

    Turn to our Caregiver Center and our Alzheimer's Caregiver Web Resources area for help in finding others who can give you what you need.
