Our schools should be teaching young children second languages, too. This is a wonderful reminder that being a global society - if we choose to become multi-lingual as many in the world are - we could also have healthier brains.

Dear Carol,

 

Thank you for sharing this!  I have wanted to learn - *really* learn, not just use, as needed - two languages.  Now I have an excuse to take some courses!  I had always thought I'd do this when I retired.  Maybe I need to think about doing it sooner!  If only I could just finish this book I need to finish writing!
