Dorian - thanks so much for your post.

This does sound like a really power film and I'm certain anyone who has gone through it - well it just hits home all the more.

If anyone else has viewed the movie and wants to share their thoughts please post them here - we all love to share!

    All the best, sue

Laura Linney is an excellent actress, and I was glad she received an oscar nomination for her role in Savages.  As a result, the nomination will bring more focus on the movie.  For those who have not seen the movie, this will generate an interest in seeing the movie. And that's

great, because this will help raise awareness about Alzheimer's disease.

As one who is living the experience of caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's (my mom), I'm fully aware of the range of emotions involved with caring for a loved one with this disease.  However, I will strongly recommend it to those who have no idea what this experience is like.
