I agree with you 100 percent.  I know that I have aged both mentally and physically since my mother started with this disease.  I never felt so much stress  as when you have to start taking care of your loved one, taking over their finances, making decisions, questions that you have to find answers to, second guessing those answers, watching their decline and last but not least haveing to hear the person you have the most respect for become nasty, mean and then change just as quick. I had/have such flucutation in my own emotions. Even has hard as all of this is, I have learned so much and have met so many wonderful people.  Thanks everyone...

Interesting post, as always, Dorian. When there is that much Alzheimer's in the family, being on top of it, like you are, is the way to go. This spiral has to be stopped.
