    I think you are wise to know yourself so well, Dorian. There are many of us who would obsess about every memory slip if we felt we were sure to get Alzheimer's. For some, knowing is best. I'm glad that there is progress. But for many, until there is a real cure, the obsession of "is it here yet?" would be paralyzing.

    The progress being made is terrific, but it's a personal choice to be tested before there are any symptoms whatever. People also need to worry about insurance, at this point. Could they be dropped if they tested positively? There are many things to consider. Thanks for this thoughtful post, Dorian.
