What a wonderful party, Dorian! This was a great reminder too. So many times people don't go to an event like that (or to visit someone with dementia) because they figure the person won't remember anyway. A lot of this is fear. Fear that they don't know what to say and also fear because they know this could happen to them or to a loved one of theirs.

 

Some people would have found it too overwhelming, but Susan's family knew what was good for her and they didn't wait too long to do it. They sound like wonderful people.
