Dorian - a friend passed me the link to your article. I am so happy that the work I did on the Oprah show was of some help to you. By way of clarification, I am not a designer but a professional organizer. I deal a great deal with different types of 'clutter' (although that's not a good description of the things we are left with when a loved one passes) - especially what I call 'memory clutter'. There are many, many ways to honor and retain the memory of a loved one without holding onto all of the physical things they owned. If you want to explore ways to do this - beyond what I showed on Oprah - they are detailed in my book "It's All Too Much" or please feel free to email me at peter.walsh@peterwalshdesign.com

    Best wishes - Peter
