Are you one of millions experiencing those pesky senior moments, which seem to occur more frequently with each advancing year? We whisper to our friends with a gallows laugh about the silly thing we have done now, secretly worrying we may be starting to get Alzheimer's or something. Then there's that...

Thanks Jacqueline. This seems to be one of the most important things a patient can do - track their health in a journal. It can be all statistics - dates, times, episodes - or more personal (as long as you are ok with others reviewing it). Written in a book or typed on a computer or website, it all is about documenting a life and making sure no one forgets, least of all yourself!
Even caregivers can keep one as a guide to ther own well being as well as a means to help maintain their loved one's situation.
Check out Leah's blog, A Day in the Life of a Dementia Sufferer to see how she is tracking her and her loved one's life with vascular dementia.
Hope this helps and all the best, sue
