Thanks Jacqueline.  This seems to be one of the most important things a patient can do -  track their health in a journal. It can be all statistics - dates, times, episodes -  or more personal (as long as you are ok with others reviewing it). Written in a book or typed on a computer or website, it all is about documenting a life and making sure no one forgets, least of all yourself!

Even caregivers can keep one as a guide to ther own well being as well as a means to help maintain their loved one's situation.

Check out Leah's blog, A Day in the Life of a Dementia Sufferer to see how she is tracking her and her loved one's life with vascular dementia.

Hope this helps and all the best, sue
