(poem) Breeze of Love

By Barry Pankhurst Monday, September 13, 2010

That gentle breeze as it wisps your hair,

With a radiant smile that beguiles the moon,

Your charisma within enchants my daily life,

    I know I'm a man with a blessing of a wife...

From within your thoughts there's never a cross word,

From within your being, there's only love and care,

For you give unto me more than your heart and soul,

    So I know I'm a man with a blessing of a wife...

When my days are fraught you allay my deepest fears,

With your soothing hands upon my shoulders and nape,

Embalming my body with the essence of your love,

    Thus I know I'm a man with a blessing of a wife...

As night doth descend whence I wax and wane,

Lamenting for my past being, to rekindle again,

Yet you console my weeping with the breeze of your love,

Hence I know I'm a man with more than a blessing of a wife...

Barry,

This is a nice poem. I love it. Your wife is so lucky that you write beautiful poems for her.

Take care,

Nina
