Behavioral changes

By Concerned Individual Thursday, October 04, 2007
I have a loved one that lives in CA and I live in MD.  I talk to him at least twice a week, and noticed nothing.  However, I have been told that he gets agitated very easily.  I am trying to find out what are some of the behavioral changes people with alzheimers experience?

Hi and thanks for writing! My name is MK and I am the producer for this site.

This is a really good question - one that I'm sure a lot of people are asking themselves. You can go to our page on the  10 Warning Signs of Alzheimers Disease, which mentions mood changes, and also check out or symptoms guide- which will also tell you what to look for when talking to your friend. Lastly, a blog that really helps people trying to decide how to diagnose their loved one is The Difference Between Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease.

Thanks so much for writing. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
