I call Mom all the time and at times I think that I call to much. How can you call to much though?? I miss her terribly.  I drive 2 hours each way to visit and wish she was closer. I can't imagine what some of you feel who's loved one is further away than mine...Yikes...

So, today Mom was very happy to hear from me but she had some bad news. I'm not sure why but Mom has lost her job, I am not sure if she was fired, quit, laid off or if she just really cant find her job??  HMMmm... hehehe   She is so funny at times

I was there with her Mon. and Tues. this week. She looks very pail and skinny so I put her on the scale and she has lost over ten pounds. Not good for someone that only weighs 110.  I have a call into her doctor to see what can be done. I have tasted the food there and it is horrible, no wonder she is loosing weight. I think we should BBQ for the people there every day!!!

I have met other family members and all the staff!  We have a lot of fun there at times.  It's just so sad to first see her and even more sad to leave her. YUK......

Today is my Birthday and it is weird not having her with me. Today we are BBQing and I thought I could put on some Frank Sinatra so I can have mom with me in spirit!!   :)))))

Sometimes I feel great about my chioce of moving Mom there and other times I feel horrible.. guess it is just something I am going to have to live with.

My sister does well with Mom and her new place but she still has a hard time dealing with me and the legal stuff. She is clueless and makes it hard on me at times.. Again, guess it is something i am going to have to live with. I just try to smile and move foreward.. Hard to do at times..

I feel strange today but the day is good and young..

HUGS
