Hi Gang!

  Everything here has been "Normal" For Mom and me.. Mom continues with "her job" and is into everything.  People where Mom lives are on a stealing gig, Things end up missing and into the wrong hands. Moms latest was when my sister took a couple of her friends to see her and at some point during the day Mom had pulled out a family picture to show everyone her new family picture. The problem was that this picture was of a black family.  Guess I need to go to the beach and start tanning more?

 The facility has told me of the stealing and last time I was there we looked around for some of Mom things, finding some but not her favorite Raiders blanket. Hand made by a friend this one really upset me because it was NOT to be found. I am guessing a worker has taken it?? I hate to think that but since everything else has been found, well you know...

  Sad,  Family members are starting to take some of Moms stuff. I now have everything left in a locked storage. Of course I am the jerk but I still take some of her stuff to her now and then.

 I am starting to get bored in life and have thought of different things to do. With all the help I recieved when Mom was with me I have been using my time to help other caregivers in the area. Also with winter coming soon I have been helping older people get their homes ready. minor repairs, firewood to making sure things around the home are ready..  sometimes I show up with dinner and just hang out..  Seeing their smiles is so rewarding.  Thinking back at how I felt going to the store thinking it was a vacation. One older couple and I play cards, another we just talk, and my favorite "Ruth".......... 88 going on 16, what a firecracker she is. I can barely keep up as she pulls her oxygen around. Her chuckles and never ending stories. She has NO clue on how to frown or talk bad about anyone. She needs a lot of help but yet tries to do it all on her own. Even has a garden........ Paying it all back to others is so powerful. I thought I could never pay back the help I recieved, but this is working for me...

 Life is treating me pretty good. I just wanted to stop in and share a bit with my friends here.
