About Me

I married in May 2005 he love of my life.  It was a little over a year later that I learned he had this devastating diseases.  I have heard that this is the hardest of the patients but I disagree.  It is the hardest on the spouse, caregivers, and family members that is the closest to them.  I have a brother in law that is in the final stages of Alzheimers and dementia.  I was a caregiver for him as well for quite some time before my husband became unmanageable and I wasn't ab le to handle them both.  Overwhelming is not even the beginning of how I feel.  Frustaration, anger, and many other emotions as well because I cannot seem to get any kind of help with medicines from the Veterans even though he is a WW2 vet.  They says that he is ineligible because he has to many assessets.  I feel that he is being punished because he managed to save a little bit for his later years.  I have found a great Doctor that is in Arkansas that has helped him more than anyone else has. I know that God has a reason for everything that He allows to happen and I am waiting to see what this journey will teach me.  I welcome any and all that wish to correspond with me.
