Thanks, Christine, for this wonderful article. It's just full of good tips.

 

Remembering that people with AD are people - and "still in there" - is vital. I like white boards inside their rooms to give tips to visitors about who these folks are. That helps the visitor (or even staff with many people to care for) remember to ask the right questions or talk about appropriate things that can trigger memories.
