Thank you, Christine, for sharing this very valuable reminder that there is much satisfaction in helping others. Caregivers are often stressed and often have many difficult things to manage, but there are some very satisfying moments, as well. Caregivers who take time to care for themselves, at least minimally, will probably be more likely to notice the satisfying aspects of caregiving.
