Hi Christine,

Thanks for the information. I agree that deciding that the rate of dementia is declining is difficult because there are so many type. As you mentioned, vascular dementia may be averted if people are well treated for vascular threats before there is damage, but with our aging population - and one of the biggest risk factors for Alzheimer's is age - there's little comfort in these numbers until researchers find a way to control or prevent Alzheimer's. This was terrific information.
