Carol - my mind is boggled as your is spinning, as I just replied to MK's Alert post.
One of the points you highlight is how important it is for caregivers to stay on top of facilities and other professionals providing care to patients. I agree totally.
Though it might be said one should be able to rely (to some degree) upon nursing home personnel or those providing medical care to be responsible and appropriate in their actions, we all have an obligation to make sure those who cannot care for themselves are safe and treated well.
It really is amazing to me.

Carol, I agree with you 100%. I felt that people needed to have a voice to let the world know about both good and bad experiences they have had with all senior services. I created a website called caregrade.com which does just that. It is an excellent resource for people to use when looking for care for their parents.
There needs to be advocay for seniors. They desrve to have their later years in comfort and security and their children need to have peace of mind they are setting their parents up with quality care.
