Dementia Less Common, But The Fight Isn't Over

Well, here we are again, looking at education and Alzheimer's disease. I wrote a post here on OurAlzheimers.com early last October, titled More Education Means A Lesser Chance of Getting Alzheimer's, that was in response to a study on education and dementia. Shortly thereafter, I wrote a post...

Hi, Carol.  Glad to see your response on this study.  I was not any too impressed with it.  I hate generalities (that statement being a generality in itself, I am sorry to say...).  I didn't find that this study, which probably received lots of funds in the way of grant monies, really resulted in providing any increase in the knowledge or treatment of Alzheimers and dementia.  It certainly was too broad.  Frankly, I see it as having wasted the monies used and the many hours spent on the behalf of the doctors and researchers involved...

One might say that I should say what I really mean--and I just did!

God bless you as you continue your good work!

Take care, Leah,

Carol
