Carol,

You are right it is not working for everyone and if it works, it only delays the dementia a few months. The drugs work on my father-in-law, but we don't know how long. Maybe just a few months like 6 months or so. So we basically see some change every 6 months.

He started taking the drugs quite late - only after he was diagnosed in Nov/2006.

Well, at least he's gotten some good out of them. We can hope and pray for something better - soon!
