Thursday, April 03, 2008 at 08:54 AMOrganic brain disease seems to be a catch-all - so many dementias fall into that category. My parent's had very different dementias, but both were officially diagnosed as "organic brain disease." I guess the brain stuff is kind of like "shaken baby sydrome" - the brain gets bounced around inside the head too much and, someday, there may be payback. Thanks for your comments, Sue.

Hi Carol -
Thanks for your post. I have to admit everytime one of my girls (I have three daughters - 4 1/2, 2, and 10 months) bumps their heads I worry about what that is going ot mean in the future. I know the head is strong - but wow sometimes it can be pretty cary to think what is happeing on the brain side of the "bop" on the head.
I will try to watch where I am going, after having read your post, a bit more decisively. Course as you say - you have to live life.
All the best, sue
